Dr. Sakher Obeidat is a dedicated pediatric oncologist with a fervent commitment to advancing his clinical and research knowledge in pediatric oncological care. He notably served as a Pediatric Specialist at the Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) unit at the King Hussein Cancer Center in Amman, Jordan. Dr. Obeidat’s journey in pediatric hematology/oncology includes valuable experience as a fellow at King Hussein Cancer Center.

He actively contributes to patient care, conducting minor surgical procedures, and being the first line oncall during after-hours and weekends. Dr. Obeidat has been an integral participant in various research projects, including his role as a Site Coordinator for PrOFILE (Pediatric Oncology Facility Integrated Local Evaluation) in collaboration with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

He has showcased strong leadership skills as the Chief Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellow, overseeing educational activities, on-call schedules, and fellow training curriculum fulfillment. Dr. Obeidat’s commitment to professional development is evident through his participation in conferences, training programs, and obtaining certifications in quality and safety.
